Zion Lutheran Church has partnered in Ministry with Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch. Zion’s Associate Pastor spends 10 hours each week in ministry at the Western Plains facility in Bismarck. His work is with High School age youth.
This partnership includes a sponsorship program for each of the youth, providing gifts at Christmas and Easter baskets during the Easter season.
Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is dedicated to helping at-risk children and their families as an expression of our joy and faith in Jesus Christ, following Christ's example to serve the needs of others.
Each young person is different and each young person has different needs. As a result each young person will respond to help differently. Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch has developed many programs to help
young people in a way that will work for them.
