Pastor Bergelin grew up in Sheboygan, WI. He is a 2003 graduate of Concordia University, Wisconsin and a 2007 graduate of Concordia
Seminary, St. Louis. Pastor Bergelin was ordained at his
home congregation in July of 2007, and installed at Zion in August of 2007. As part of Pastor Bergelin’s call, he spends ten hours a week
at the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch as a chaplain for at-risk youth. He meets with the residents individually, leads Bible study and chapel and involves Zion members in the ministry of the
Ranch. He serves the church at large as member of the ND District Division of Youth, Pastoral Board member for the Bismarck/Mandan Lutheran School Association and Board member for Shepherds'
Hills at the Crossroads Bible Camp. Pastor Bergelin is a sports fan, primarily of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. He coaches a traveling boys’ basketball team in the spring. You may
