Power Hour: The fun and fellowship part of Zion’s Confirmation program. Power Hour is held throughout the school year. It consists of games, supper, community
building and Bible-based topics.
9th – 12th grade Group: Includes all of Zion’s young people of High School age. This group has regular fun events,
service projects, retreats, fundraisers, camping trips and Bible Studies throughout the year.
Annual YMCA Lock-in: Sponsored by the Bismarck-Mandan LCMS Youth Council this yearly lock-in is for young people
in grades 6 through 12. Swimming, Bible Study, devotions, music, games and food fill the hours.
Zone Lutheran Youth Fellowship (LYF), District LYF, District LCMS Camps, and National LYF Gathering are all opportunities for
the young people of Zion to connect with other Christian young people across the state and nation. Gatherings, retreats and camps are held yearly with the National Youth Gathering being held every 3 years.
